We’ve got good news, thrill-seekers! After waiting for BC’s reopening plan to take effect, and working with relevant health authorities, Playland is set to open for the summer next week! Ironically, the news comes on the same day that the Sea to Sky announced its return too. It’s double-trouble Tuesday, we guess.

Playland originally said they were going to reopen last month, but ending up holding off until after the May long weekend to do so. Their reopening plan has stayed largely the same, and includes things like wearing a mask on rides and in queues, booking tickets in advance, and significantly reduced capacities.

Lucky for us, the vast majority of their amusement and thrill rides will be good to go by opening. The list is extensive, and includes everything from their recent additions to the iconic wooden rollercoaster. Craving some snacks while you’re there? Triple-O’s, Fundunkers Mini Donuts and candy floss have got you covered.

The PNE recently hinted that they’re looking at bringing back the beloved PNE Fair this summer too. But, there’s not been an update since then, just in case you were curious. Don’t worry folks- we’ll keep our ears on the ground to keep you in the loop.

In the meanwhile, you can book tickets for Playland by clicking the link below!
