We love a good blast from the past! Tim Hortons is bringing back some old favourites in celebration of National Donut Day. Any guesses as to what they may be?

The chain announced last week that two of their most popular and beloved donuts from back in the day will make a brief return in May.

After much anticipation, the two donuts returning to a participating Tims near you are… *drumroll please* the Walnut Crunch and Cherry Stick donut!

“Both the Walnut Crunch and Cherry Stick were iconic donuts in their time and I’m happy to report they still pack the same punch in every bite,” said the Director of Culinary Innovation in a press release.

The retro donuts will be available in participating Tim Hortons restaurants across Canada on May 31st ahead of National Donut Day, which is on June 2nd.

In the meantime, Tims just dropped an extensive lineup of new cold drinks for the warmer months.

The new lineup includes the Oreo Double Stuf Iced Capp, Oreo Strawberry Creamy Chill, Caramel Toffee Cold Brew, Strawberry Watermelon and Peach Real Fruit Quenchers, Strawberry Frozen Lemonade, and Vanilla Iced Latte.

The Caramel Toffee Cold Brew is steeped for 16 hours, infused with Caramel Toffee syrup and topped with espresso-infused cold foam.

The Oreo Double Stuf Iced Capp features blended Oreo cookie crumble and vanilla syrup. It’s topped with vanilla-flavoured whipped topping and finished off with even more Oreo cookie crumble.

Between these new drinks and the nostalgic donuts, those with a sweet tooth will be spoiled for choice when it comes to summer treats.
