Calling all bookworms. If you’re looking for some good reading material to kick off the new year, the Toronto Public Library (TPL) has released a list of the city’s most popular checked-out books in 2022.

TikTok’s popular literature-obsessed subcommunity, BookTok, has sparked a strong interest in trending authors and titles. Several of the books you see on this list were among the ones that went viral on the app.
