Another month slipped through our fingers before we could even realize it was over. With October right around the corner, that means more exciting things are to come, like new restaurants in Toronto to enjoy.

The city has so much to offer when it comes to the culinary scene that it feels like new restaurants are opening almost every week. And we’re not complaining.

Toronto has been waiting too long for a spot like this! Black Pearl is the city’s newest bar and live music venue with a laid-back vibe that’s unlike anything else you’ll find in the downtown core.

Black Pearl is the latest venture by Hanif Harji and Terry Tsianos of Scale Hospitality, the duo behind some of the city’s most buzzworthy restaurants, so you already know that you’re in for something special.

Where: 184 Pearl Street
When: Monday to Saturday, 5 PM to 2 AM

Seau de Crabe

The popular Quebec-based seafood restaurant Seau de Crabe, has opened its first location in Ontario and it has picked the city of Mississauga to be its newest home. This seafood spot is known for its drool-worthy crab legs, lobster, and shrimp dishes that are just so good, it has Quebecers hooked. There are currently two locations of the seafood chain in the French province and now Mississauga has been blessed with its third.

Pret A Manger Toronto

Though it’s not actually a restaurant, Pret A Manger specializes in sandwiches, wraps, drinks, and more. This is the first of many locations to pop up within A&W locations in Canada.

Foodie Aisle at Union Station welcomes all to try its lineup of mouthwatering options to satisfy your hunger. This spot is described as “an urban destination for food lovers,” and offers direct access to Scotiabank Arena, making it the perfect spot to grab a bite before a game or concert. The vendors include Mean Bao, Grand Tacos Taqueria, Butter Chicken Roti, Mikey’s Smashburgers, and Union Chicken.

The Dubai-based fast food chain ChickQueen is getting ready to welcome the city to its newest location in Toronto. And to celebrate its big accomplishment, the team will hand out free chicken for one day only. Mark your calendars and get ready to eat because ChickQueen is opening on September 30 at 247 Queen St West – its first Toronto location.

Añejo Restaurant’s newest Don Mills location, complete with a gorgeous patio and its famous “halfy-hour” deals, is now open. That means Toronto now has a new place to dig into fresh Mexican cuisine and handcrafted cocktails in a colourful atmosphere.

Toronto is full of out-of-this-world experiences and this new sci-fi bar is another one that hits that mark. Offworld Bar is the city’s newest intergalactic hub for all things boozy and delicious. You can drink and dine in a “unique science fiction setting, overlooking otherworldly vistas through our huge virtual windows,” according to Offworld. “Let us transport you off Earth for a night to see exotic places from across the cosmos.”
