Big things are coming to Ontario’s favourite amusement park. Canada’s Wonderland announced a lineup of exciting events for you to look forward to, including the popular Halloween Haunt and WinterFest. The park promises “four seasons of world-class experiences, events and entertainment for guests of all ages,” now that the 2021 summer season is well underway.

Plus, Wonderland is gearing up to open a brand new “multi-level, rustic lodge-restaurant” with seating for over 500 people, the largest in the whole park. The restaurant will have a spacious patio with views of the Yukon Striker, as well as indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Now’s a good time to score a deal on unlimited Wonderland trips next season, too — the 2022 GOLD Pass is now on sale for $99.99, or 12 payments of $8.99.

Here’s a list of the brand new and returning events planned at Wonderland in the coming months and in the 2022 season.

INTERNATIONAL FOOD FESTIVAL

Funnel cakes may be Wonderland’s specialty, but the park is upping its food game. A new food festival will serve up a variety of dishes, drinks, and desserts from over 12 countries worldwide next summer, accompanied by live entertainment. Before that, though, Wonderland is releasing its 40th-anniversary menu and you’ll be able to try all kinds of wildly delicious treats this October 2021.

LONG WEEKEND FIREWORKS

Wonderland’s iconic long weekend fireworks shows are making a comeback next year, featuring over 6,000 fireworks at over 800 feet high with a magical soundtrack to go along with it. After screaming on rollercoasters all day, it’ll be nice to kick back and see a fireworks show over the Wonder Mountains.

CELEBRATION CANADA

The amusement park is throwing a birthday party for Canada in July, and you’re invited. The event will feature authentic Canadian food, live music, daily live entertainment, street performers, and more.

FAMILY HALLOWEEN EVENT

This Halloween event is all treats, no tricks. Mazes, trick-or-treat adventures, and costume parties are some of the activities families can participate in, and selfies with Snoopy, of course.
