There’s nothing like a good old staycation, right? And with the sate of the world being what it is, there’s no better time to get comfy at home and really explore what our own city has to offer. And let us tell you, it’s a lot. Cause Toronto is jam-packed with fun stuff to do! Whether you want to feel like a tourist at home or try out some of the local faves you haven’t visited yet, this is the list for you.

Here are 5 more summer staycation ideas for Toronto. We hope you enjoy exploring the city!

VISIT THE CN TOWER

Alright, alright, this one’s pretty obvious. But how can we talk about Toronto tourism without bringing up this giant? Toronto’s most famous tower has just turned 44, so there’s no better time to pay a visit. You can officially stop by starting July 15th.

DO A PATIO TOUR

You know when you visit a new city and you just want to try every restaurant they’ve got to offer? Well, why not apply that same logic to Toronto? Patios have just reopened, so you can do a tour of the best eats in the city. Bon Appétit!

CASA LOMA

Feel like royalty when you visit Canada’s only castle. You can dine on their outdoor patio or explore the beautiful grounds. Either way, it makes for a wonderful summer afternoon.

VISIT A MUSEUM

Toronto’s two biggest museums have just announced their reopening dates. The AGO will be open to the public on July 23rd. And the ROM is back July 11th. So if you don’t have plans to hit up one (or both) of these attractions in your Toronto staycation, go ahead and pencil that in now.

VISIT THE ISLANDS

And what’s a summer in Toronto without stopping by the Toronto Islands? Well, ferries have just resumed service so there’s no better time to hop on board and do a little exploring! We’re thinking a bike ride on the boardwalk sounds perfect right about now.

Happy Staycationing, Toronto! With a city so full of fun, we know you’ll stay entertained!
