Toronto companies are getting on board with the 4-day work week and there are a couple that are currently hiring if you’re looking for a new job or a career change.

Coconut is a remote software company that aims to make it easy and seamless for customers to connect with their financial institutions through enterprise appointment scheduling and lobby management solutions. Mayday is also based in Toronto and offers software with an all-on-one Calendar, task manager and scheduling Assistant for Mac, iOS and iPad. The company’s CEO took to social media to share his thoughts on why his company moved to the 4-day work week writing, “It seems counterintuitive, but moving to a 4-day workweek increased our productivity and the overall quality of our work.” Mayday is not currently hiring but check their site for when job openings become available.

Sensei Lab
Sensei Lab is a Toronto company with AI development and business automation services. According to their website, “Sensei Labs participated in the North American pilot program run by 4 Day Week Global. We’re very happy with the results and have put in place a four-day week across all our teams.” Sensei Labs is not hiring at the moment but check out their website to stay up-to-date on when they are.

Alida
Alida is a customer experience management and customer insights platform based out of Toronto. They launched their 4-day work week pilot in 2022 and have made it permanent during the months of July and August since. Employees can enjoy a 4-day workweek all summer long.
