UPDATE: Dates for the Go Skiing Go Snowboarding event have changed, and it’s reflected in the article.

A massive ski hill is coming to Toronto’s Nathan Phillips Square this month and if you’re new to the sport, it’s a perfect chance to learn all while having fun.

Go Skiing Go Snowboarding returns, in partnership with Ontario Snow Resorts Association and they’re bringing an exciting snowy experience to Nathan Phillips Square this February.

Due to the lack of snow, organizers have postponed the event to February 28th and 29th from 11 AM to 9 PM.

And just like last year, a long-form ski hill will take over the space in front of Toronto City Hall.

Designed for first-timers, this thrilling city-based experience will have free equipment and guidance for free.

“Skiing and snowboarding are an essential part of Canadian culture,” said Paul Pinchbeck, President of the Canadian Ski Council.

“By bringing the snow to downtown Toronto, OSRA is demonstrating its collective commitment to introducing as many people as possible to the joys of being outdoors and sliding on snow during winter.”

People of all ages who are new to this can try alpine skiing or snowboarding on the hill without fear of the real deal.

Mark your calendars cause this is one snowy experience you don’t want to miss out on.
