It’s that time again! Sunny season here and for some, patio season has finally begun. National on 8th Ave is the place you go for a cold beer, good food, and a great time. Do you get a perfect panorama of downtown? No, but that’s not to say that the view isn’t a beaut. Also, this bad boy is heated – meaning you can enjoy it on chillier days as well as the sizzling ones.

The ‘best steak in Calgary,’ a glass of wine, and a solid view? Modern really has it all. This sunny season, check out their rooftop patio in Kensington, for a relaxing – romantic AF evening of food, friends, and fresh air!

While Calgary’s Rooftop Bar is not open YET it will be a must-visit later this season. Not only can you see the inner city from this paradise-type patio, but diners can also sneak a peek of the Bow River. The best part? Besides their unreal POV and their incredible NYC-style pizza menu – they’re prepared for good and great weather, night or day. Check this one out!

With views of the Calgary Tower and Stephen Avenue, this casual rooftop patio is one of the more comfortable ones on the list and while it’s not open for the season quite yet, it’s perfect for a chill Friday night out with some friends. Grab a drink, take in some fresh air and lean back on one of their many couches. 10/10 would recommend.
