It’s the first weekend of fall, and I insist you go out and enjoy it! It’s my favourite time of year, and not only is the city packed with fun festivities, but you won’t sweat your butt off while you explore and check it all out. From fall festivals to one of the last outdoor concerts of the year, these are 10 of the best things to do this weekend in Toronto.
Fall ball is here, and the Jays are at home taking on the Rays in a three-game series.
What better way to spend an evening with pals?
When: Friday, Sept. 26 to Sunday, Sept. 28
Where: Rogers Centre – 1 Blue Jays Way
Cost: $20+
Happening at the Harbourfront, over 40 vendors will take over the area with treats, accessories and other unique finds.
Plus, there will be cozy fire pits, s’mores, pumpkins and live entertainment.
When: Saturday, Sept. 27 and Sunday, Sept. 28
Time: Starting at 12 p.m.
Where: HTO Park – 375 Queens Quay W.
Cost: Free admission
“Locals and visitors are all invited to experience Toronto’s waterfront in a new way this fall — with a trail of markets, events and art exhibits across a two km stretch of Queens Quay,” says Tim Kocur, executive director of the Waterfront BIA.
“Framed by the colour of changing leaves and crisp autumn air, the Water/Fall Festival will be a way to rediscover the energy of the waterfront through food, arts and culture experiences and live entertainment,” Kocur continues.

DJ duo SLANDER will be performing at Budweiser Stage on Friday, and tickets are still available.

Waterworks Food Hall is transforming into a giant Oktoberfest party.
There will be plenty of traditional food and, of course, ice-cold beer.

Time: 9 p.m.
Where: Waterworks Food Hall – 50 Brant St.
Cost: $33.28+
Summer is over, and the Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown is saying goodbye by opening its Lakeview Pool Lounge for one last pool party – for dogs.
All proceeds go to the Toronto Humane Society, with tickets priced at $35 for one pet and up to two humans.

Canada’s Wonderland is kicking off its Halloween Haunt this weekend!
Enjoy spooky attractions as the theme park transforms until Nov. 1.

Where: Canada’s Wonderland – 1 Canada’s Wonderland Dr.
Cost: $49+
TFC is hosting Inter Miami this Saturday, and with hopes of seeing Messi, tickets are pretty expensive, but it would be well worth it to see a legend in action.

Time: 4:30 p.m.
Where: BMO Field – 170 Princes’ Blvd.
Cost: $211+
Hip-hop/rap duo Suicideboy$ will be at Bud Stage Saturday evening.
Tickets are reasonably priced and still available.

Our Canadian boy is back in Toronto for one of the last Bud Stage shows of the summer.
