Well, well, well, if it isn’t our favourite mid-spring holiday! After weeks of anticipation, we’ve finally made it, YYC! Luckily, for those of us who didn’t manage to snag a campsite, there is a TON going on this time around! From virtual events to events held at some of the city’s best attractions here are 10 socially distant things to do this LONG weekend in Calgary!
Miss live music? So do we! That’s why this week you need to check out the 2021 TD Jazz YYC Festival. Much like last year, this time around the organization is going digital, featuring Q and A’s and performances online until May 27th. You won’t want to miss this, friends!

This weekend, the zoo will be open late! On Friday and Saturday the 22nd, check out one of Calgary’s favourite attractions for some quality time with the animals after hours. This Saturday, May 22nd, the historic village will swing its gates open to families looking for a good time, with a focus on health and attentiveness. All 127 acres of the park will be accessible, including its brand new Prospect Ridge area which features old-timey staples like a giant working water wheel and a replica of Turner Valley’s Dingman Number 1 Discovery Well.
