ZOOMINESCENCE

You’ll get to see the zoo transformed by dazzling light installations, ranging from ‘Aurora Animals’ to a ‘Carnivore Canopy’. With dozens of different installations stretching practically across the entire zoo, the experience is a great way to deal with those early sundown blues we all know and love.

PARANORMAL TOURS AT FORT EDMONTON PARK

Fort Edmonton Park is has been hosting guided ‘Paranormal Tours’ that explore the creepiest parts of the historic park. The 3-hour long tour is meant for adults and is guaranteed to give you some goosebumps. Heads up though- this is the last week to enjoy it!

EDMONTON OILERS

A new month means new opportunities to watch the Edmonton Oilers keep playing some great hockey. This week, they’ll be facing off against the Pittsburgh Penguins and another Canadian hockey icon- Sidney Crosby.

LUMINARIA

The wondrous Luminaria experience at the U of A Botanic Garden has kicked off as well! The stunning attraction will be transforming some of the best parts of the garden- so you can expect seasonal treats, live entertainment, and of course, some amazing displays.

CITADEL THEATRE

The classic holiday option A Christmas Carol has arrived at the Citadel Theatre! If you’re looking to get in the Christmas spirit in a particularly artsy way, then this is a great option.

MUTTART CONSERVATORY

It’s nice to know that Edmonton has its own slice of summer, thanks to the Muttart Conservatory. This indoor botanical garden is the perfect place to unwind after a long day, or relax with a friend during the weekend. Either way, it’s sure to get more and more popular as temperatures drop.

GLOW EDMONTON

With over a million twinkling lights, Edmonton’s stunning indoor Glow festival will have you in total awe. This event honestly will have something for everyone including live entertainment, an artisan market, family-friendly activities and tasty food in addition to a stunning display – so check it out and enjoy.

ENCHANTED FOREST

This week, you can wander through the ‘Enchanted Forest’ a Christmas tree festival where Edmontonians from all walks of life have purchased and decorated Firs with tinsel, beads, lights and love – for your enjoyment!
