Great news, folks! Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the U of A Botanic Garden has announced a new series of winter date nights, featuring an ice slide! Of course, that’s just a part of the offering, but it’s definitely the one that we’re most excited about. Let’s check it out.
The new series is called Date Night Under the Stars. Fittingly, the evenings are geared towards grownups, but still feature tons of activities. Try a tapas plate while you stroll around, enjoy some live music, go snowshoeing, and listen to Indigenous Dark Sky Storytelling.

So, you can really plan out a quick visit or an entire evening of fun, depending on your mood. Of course, the one thing we must insist you try out is that ice slide, which was created in collaboration with Ice on Whyte. After all, when are you going to have a chance like this again?
The new Date Night Under the Stars events kick off this weekend, but will be on until March! Click the link below to check it out.
