The first week of May is almost here and that means Cinco de Mayo is just days away. If you’ve been meaning to treat yourself to some delicious Mexican cuisine and margaritas, this is your chance. Here are 10 of the best places to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Seattle!

Mezcaleria Oaxaca

Capitol Hill’s best spot for Oaxacan eats always has a great Cinco celebration. Dine inside the restaurant or head upstairs to check out their roof deck complete with a taco truck. You can’t go wrong with any of their delicious and authentic menu items and drinks.

El Paisano Rosticeria Y Cocina

This spot is probably off your radar unless you live in South Seattle. But it’s absolutely worth visiting because it’s the restaurant sister of a nearby butcher shop. That means you can get great meat and enjoy it in delicious food items like tacos.

Raiz

Raiz serves up elevated Mexican cuisine crafted with PNW ingredients. If you’re looking to celebrate with some fine dining on Cinco, Raiz might just be the spot for you. Be sure to make a reservation!

Tacos Chukis

You can’t go wrong with Tacos Chukis simple and delicious taco menu that allows you to grab as many or as few tacos as you like. Or you can opt for other items like mulitas, baby burritos, tortas, and more. Don’t forget to grab one of their delicious horchatas as well.

Frelard Tamales

The name says it all, Frelard Tamales is known for tamales! They also happen to be offering some Cinco specials this year like pozole, mole oaxaqueno, and a mini tamales 3 pack. Don’t miss out on the limited-time offerings!

Carnitas Michoacan

This Beacon Hill spot is another one that you may have never tried before. But trust us, it’s time to go give them a go! Carnitas Michoacan serves up tacos, carnitas, al pastor, carne asada, tamales and more. It’s the perfect food to grab and take home for whatever kind of Cinco de Mayo celebration you’re having.

Tacos, tacos galore! This multi-location food truck resto is another spot that always comes in handy when you just want simple tacos or a burrito. But it doesn’t stop there, they actually have a massive menu with items like gorditas, tostadas, and much more.

Asadero

If you’re really into meat then Asadero is worth a try. This spot is a Mexican steakhouse that specializes in American, Australian & Japanese Wagyu Beef, as well as USDA prime beef. You can choose from items like tacos, tortas, and of course asados.

Carmelo’s Tacos
