Canadians 30 & under can apply for thousands of well-paying summer jobs

On the job hunt? Canada Summer Jobs has thousands of employment opportunities across the country for young people aged 15 to 30.

You can make up to $22 an hour working in a variety of environments, including sports, research, marketing, retail, admin, customer service, and so much more.

That includes work-from-home jobs too!

The employers are non-profits, public sector, and private sector organizations with 50 or fewer full-time employees.

To give you an idea of just how many jobs are up for grabs, there are well over 14,000 in Ontario, and close to 4,000 in Alberta and BC.

You can filter your search by language and also by the level of your education.

Whether you have a high school diploma, post-secondary school education, or no education at all, there are many opportunities out there for you.

From working in a kitchen to sailing on the water to working with animals, Canada Summer Jobs has opportunities in every field you can imagine.

Each job also shows you the hour requirements, the job description, and how to apply.

This program is an initiative by the federal government to create quality summer work experiences for youth.

Employers are given wage subsidies in order to provide these opportunities.

The government also has a list of resources for applicants on how to land a job and what to expect when they start working.
