Wanna feel a rush? Embark on a journey along the White Water Walk in Niagara Falls and get up close and personal with some of North America’s most powerful whitewater rapids.

This is your chance to face the Niagara River’s Class 6 whitewater rapids in a thrilling experience along a stunning boardwalk.

According to Niagara Parks, visitors will head onto an elevator and down 70 metres to reach the base of the Niagara Gorge, before reaching the exit tunnel.

“The roar of the river provides a deceptive calmness, the perfect ambience for your walk among the many platforms that offer incredible views,” shares Niagara Parks.

“The sight on this quarter-mile boardwalk will take your breath away! As part of this self-guided experience, enjoy stories about the geology of the Niagara Gorge and the plant and animal life you may see on your visit to Niagara.” Parks.

The boardwalk stretches about 305 meters (1/4 mile) long, with stairs leading to several viewing platforms at the edge of the river. This is where you’ll want to snap some of the most beautiful pictures of the rushing water bellow/

You’ll get to see the breathtaking Whirlpool Rapids that flow at a speed of 48 km/hr, first hand. It’s a sight to see.

And believe it or not, this experience is only 4 km north of the Falls, and is easily accessible via the WEGO bus route.

It is also within walking distance of the Niagara Falls Ontario train and bus stations, with free parking available.

This is an adventure worth exploring!
