Another year has come and gone, but it wouldn’t be complete without a dazzling trip around the Edmonton Valley Zoo.
Presented by The King’s University, Zoominescence will return this December and it’s going to be even more spectacular than the years before.

Starting on the 1st of the month, the Edmonton Zoo will light the night with over 45 colourful installations all in celebration of the holiday season.
These installations include a giant Porcupine lantern, a life-sized polar bear sculpture that appears to be in motion, and a seven-foot hexagonal ode to animals of the North that will serve as an excellent photo op.
In addition to seeing glittering LEDs Edmontonians can also enjoy a sweet sip at one of their hot chocolate stands, take in an animal talk, and interact with performers on Fairytale Fridays, Superhero Saturdays and during holiday week – when Elsa and the Grinch roll into town.

Promising “fun for the whole family” This spectacular show will run every weekend until December 15th, then will dazzle visitors every evening until January 3rd.
This, however, will exclude Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so make your plans accordingly!
