Here’s something to add to the summer bucket list! A brand new zipline coaster, the first of its kind in North America, is coming to a resort right here in Canada. If you’re thinking a trip to Quebec is in the cards this summer, then definitely keep reading.

The new zipline coaster is the latest attraction from Mont Sutton, an all-season resort located in Quebec’s Eastern Townships. The coaster comes just one year after the introduction of a kilometre-long mountain coaster, doubling down on the thrills to experience when you visit.

So, what does the first zipline coaster in Canada actually mean? As you’ve probably guessed, it’s a combo between the two activities. Strap in, and be whisked down some 700 metres of track, enjoying a series of drops, turns, and loops up to 450 degrees. Mont Sutton describes the experience as “feeling like a bird of prey”, which we can definitely get behind. Ca-caw!!

The coaster is expected to open later this summer, with a tentative date set for mid-July. The easiest way to stay up to date? Sign up to Mont Sutton’s newsletter, which is how they’ll officially announce its opening.
