The Zellers takeover continues! The nostalgic chain that has recently made a comeback in Canada has announced that it is expanding this summer.

Earlier this year, Zellers launched its e-commerce store and boutiques within select Hudson’s Bay department stores around the country.

In a new press release, the retailer said it will open “larger footprint stores in some or all of those same locations.”

The first pop-up will be at Hudson’s Bay’s flagship store Queen Street store in June. An additional 20 pop-ups are expected to open in August.

These shops will allow Zellers to measure the customer experience in each market to help them determine the best fits for the Zellers store experience.”

If you haven’t been, Zellers sells all kinds of quality products for “everyday low prices.”

That includes a variety of lifestyle items, kitchen and bath, accent furniture and home decor, organization and storage, baby and kids toys and apparel, pets, and apparel for men and women.

Sadly, it doesn’t look like the Zellers restaurant concept that toured around Canada earlier this year will be making an appearance at any of the pop-ups.

A rep from HBC told Curiocity in an email that Zellers restaurants are not feasible within the 10,000-square-foot shops.
