Well folks, it’s official- you can no longer buy Halloween fireworks in Vancouver anymore. But, while you might not be able to set some off in your backyard, you can still enjoy a Halloween fireworks display this year. You just have to make the trip to Maple Ridge to do so.
This Friday, the City of Maple Ridge is hosting its ‘Celebrate the Night’ event. The day is chock full of experiences and events leading up to the big fireworks display. You can check out moving light displays, interactive art pieces, and even some live theatre and music.

If you get hungry from all the fun, you’ll be happy to know that a few food trucks will also be on-site starting at 6PM. Our advice? Swing by after work, check out some of the activities, then grab some food while you wait for the fireworks. You won’t have to wait long- they’re scheduled to start around 8PM from the ACT Arts Centre.
