It’s been a minute since we’ve talked about the Seattle Kraken. But the ball err puck is about to start rolling seriously fast as the team’s first game is actually today. While that’s very exciting, it’s not the only big news that the team has dropped. Get ready because Filson is now a Seattle Kraken and Climate Pledge Arena brand partner.
Yep, the beloved local outdoors outfitter is taking its hand at branded gear. While they’re not the makers of the team’s jerseys or anything like that, they are responsible for making sure fans have some of the coolest gear around. Fans will be able to purchase Filson products in its team stores at Climate Pledge Arena and at the Kraken Community Iceplex.

To start, products will include t-shirts, hoodies, logo patches, and other accessories with custom graphics. And fans won’t be the only lucky folks to get to wear the gear, Climate Pledge Arena staff who are working games and events will also be outfitted in special custom Filson uniforms. Psst, that includes the Ice Crew.
It’s great to see local brands getting the representation that they deserve through big brand deals. Especially when you think about it through this statement said by Aaron Wiggan, VP of Brand at the Seattle Kraken, “Filson has a deep history in Seattle that honors the beauty and grit of the Pacific Northwest and the Kraken brand thrives a creative expression of those elements”. It quite literally doesn’t get much more PNW than this.
