Dare to be scared? Here’s something that’ll chill you right to the bone. This spooky season, you can attend an authentic séance at one of Toronto’s last remaining Victorian-era farmhouses. No costumes or face paint here, this frightening activity is as real as it gets.

Led by professional mindreader Jaymes White, you’ll be taken through a two-hour “soul-shaking psychological experience” in a truly haunting location. White’s extensive knowledge and expertise in the paranormal allows him to “summon the spirits within using traditional Victorian Séance techniques.”

For the first time this year, you can book a private séance in a group of up to 16 people. If you can convince the squad to join in, it’s sure to be a night you’ll never forget.

If you’re feeling extra daring, you can attend the special Devil’s Night or Witching Hour séance, when it’s believed that “high-level” activity occurs, according to members of the paranormal community.

These are held on October 30th and 31st at 2 a.m., so you may not catch a wink of sleep but if you’re a lover of all things spooky, it might just be worth it. The event’s description notes that some participants experienced “insomnia and vivid nightmares” after the séance, so uh, proceed with caution.

White has been running these séances since 2015 and they’ve sold out every year, according to the event’s description. But, tickets are still available for the month of October and into November.

If you’d rather stick to haunted houses this Halloween, the horror maze just outside of Toronto is sure to satisfy. Or, you can hit up Halloween Haunt at Canada’s Wonderland for some spooky experiences and late-night rollercoaster rides.
