The outdoors are calling you this weekend. If you thought the two free state park days were the only things happening, you’re in for a surprise. Because it turns out that it’s Washington Free Fishing Weekend as well. You know what that means… we’ll be gone fishin’ on June 12th and 13th.

Free Fishing Weekend means that “fishing licenses are not required of anyone to fish in Washington”. Making it the prime time to get out there and enjoy an old pastime or try something new. Just be sure to follow rules and regulations for fishing like size limits, bag limits, catch record card requirements, and more.

Don’t get too worried though, the rules and regulations are meant to be easy to follow. Plus if this is your first time fishing, chances are that you aren’t going to go too crazy with a massive fish. You never know though, maybe you’re secretly a master angler. Wouldn’t be the worst thing to find out in our opinion.

Be sure to get out there this weekend because it’s truly the perfect time. Free state parks, free fishing, what more could you ask for?
