Music is one of our favourite things to listen to. No, for real. It might sound crazy, but we love to sit back and listen to notes, rhythms, and even sometimes tones. So, the new free concert series by Music on Main is right up our alley.

To bring back some live music into all of our lives, Music on Main is putting on summer pop-up concerts throughout August. The concerts will be held at Mount Pleasant Park and are running from August 9 to 31.

And, we haven’t mentioned the best part yet: all the concerts are free! So, all you need to do is show up at 6:30 p.m. and enjoy some amazing music by local musicians. As for acts, there really is something for everyone. From a saxophone quartet to a contemporary percussion duo and a whole lot in between, there is some really beautiful music just waiting to be heard.

If you do show up, make sure to stay at least six feet from other groups, and feel free to bring your own chair or blanket. Hey, you could even bring some food, friends and have a picnic while listening to some beautiful music? We could not think of a more ideal way to spend a summer day.

To check out the full schedule of the concert series, check out the Music on Main site right here. There are a whole lot of performances in the next few weeks, so we hope you get the chance to check it out!
