“Our annual ranking of the World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants is driven by quality. Quality in every aspect,” shares organizers.

Each property is evaluated based on eight factors:

  2. Selection of the meat (ageing, origin, breeds), quantity of steak cuts offered – Primary & secondary cuts
  3. Service quality and meat expertise. Product knowledge
  4. Description of the offered cuts on the menu
  5. Wine list “that reflects and enriches the dining experience”
  6. User-friendliness of the reservation system and handling of reservations
  7. Online presence
  8. Interior design, look and feel of the property

Though many steakhouses from around the world made the list, Jacobs & Co. is the only Toronto restaurant to make the cut. It came in 73rd place.

“Our team at Jacobs & Co. is incredibly honoured to be recognized among the world’s finest steakhouses. This accolade not only reaffirms our commitment to excellence in sourcing and preparation but also reflects the dedication of our entire staff in delivering an unforgettable dining experience,” said Gus Giazitzdis, Managing Director, King Street Food Company.

“We are proud to represent Toronto on this esteemed list and will continue to strive for culinary excellence every day, in every aspect of our operation.”
