Grab a towel and plug your nose! Something big is happening at West Edmonton Mall and you’re going to want to dive right in. According to a recent Instagram post, the World Waterpark is getting a brand-new ride, bringing their total to 18 wild, wet and wacky attractions.
“Say hello to these bucket list-worthy slides!” they wrote alongside a rendering of the upcoming feature.
Set to open to the public this summer, WW’s slide will be 50 feet tall, 450 feet long, will have winding corners and colour-changing sections, which sounds like a roaring good time.

The best part? Well, because they’re in the early stages of its launch, guests can actually help name it over on their social media for a chance to win a family day multi-pass!
If of course, you’re wondering what this slide will be replacing, it’s unclear – but some fans of the park think it will take over for the Corkscrew which was torn down in 2022.
Want to check it out?
Well, as we said above, it won’t be ready until this sunny season – but it will be well worth the wait. This thing looks like a ton of fun so get ready and stay ready! It’ll only be a matter of time!
Enjoy!
