Wonderland’s WinterFest starts this week & here are all the magical attractions

The season of holiday cheer is about to begin at Canada’s Wonderland for its annual WinterFest, a celebration of everything magical about this time of year. Get ready to lace up your skates, wander along a starlit trail, and feel festive AF.

WinterFest opens this Saturday, November 13th with over 40 unique attractions, including ice skating on Snow Flake Lake, a nightly tree-lighting ceremony, an artisan market, festive food offerings, and, of course, millions of twinkling lights.

New to this year’s event is the enchanting Northern Starlight walk, a 100-foot-long LED tunnel in the expanded North Pole-themed area. Photo op anyone?

Your visit to WinterFest will be accompanied by carolers performing your favourite Christmas songs and the glow of hundreds of decorated trees throughout the park.

The event will feature adorable interactive displays of Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen and The North Pole Post Office with activities for kids to participate in, but we’d be lying if we said we didn’t want to decorate cookies and write letters to Santa too.

And it wouldn’t be a Canada’s Wonderland festival without delicious food and amusement park rides. Over a dozen rides will be open throughout WinterFest and you’ll be spoiled for choice with the special menu, which features savory mains, delicious desserts, and irresistible snacks.  Plus, you’ll be able to warm up with a cup of mulled cider, gourmet hot chocolate, and other delightful drinks.

The tickets range in price depending on the size of your group and the activities you plan to do — ice skating, for example, is an extra $5 per 30-minute session. You can get all the details here.
