There will soon be a huge ferris wheel in downtown Toronto

Winter Glow is coming back to Toronto this December and it’s bringing its massive 45-foot Ferris Wheel to Sankofa Square.

Starting December 5th to December 22nd, Winter Glow will take over the former Yonge-Dundas Square with carnival rides, midway games, delicious treats, holiday music and so much more.

Hop on the Ferris Wheel, enjoy a few rounds on the Great Canadian Carousel and spin those Teacups.

“We’re excited to bring back Winter Glow for its second year, bigger and brighter than ever! This year’s event will feature even more glowing lights, nostalgic rides, and festive entertainment,” shared Julian Sleath, General Manager of Sankofa Square.

Expect live entertainment, themed dates, brand-hosted experiences and giveaways, and of course, The Rotary Club of Toronto’s 30-foot Tree of Remembrance that will surely light up the night sky.

Is it free?

In the spirit of the holidays, Winter Glow is absolutely free to attend.

Enjoy the views, sing along to the live performances and snap some pics.

But if you do want to go on rides or get some grub, you’ll have to drop some cash for that.

How much are tickets?

Ride tickets are $6 for one, $20 for four tickets, or $37 for eight tickets. These tickets can be purchased onsite or in advance online.

As for the Midway games, carnival treats, and more, those can be purchased in person.

Winter Glow will run from 4 PM to 10 PM on weekdays and 12 PM to 10 PM on weekends.

Can you feel it? The holiday spirit?? We sure can!
