We know it’s quite early to be thinking about December when spooky season just started, but we’ve got some exciting news to share. The PNE is hosting an all-new Winter Fair this year, and there will be holiday fun for all ages.
For 10 nights, the PNE Winter Fair will feature Christmas-themed concerts, an indoor skating rink, family-friendly holiday theatre shows, and of course, a quintessential winter light display. Oh, and plenty of tasty doughnuts and holiday treats to go around! Let’s get into it.

Winter Fair activities
Visitors can enjoy ice-skating on the “classic Canadian Ice Pond” at the historic Agrodome, where live performances (on the ice!) by Dr. Strangelove, The Phonix Dance Band, and Trilojay will take place. For more details on which days each band is performing, you can visit here.
The fair will also feature a winter market, bringing together the best local vendors and gift options for folks who want to do a bit of holiday shopping as they sip their hot apple cider or cocoa.
Once you’ve done a bit of perusing, you can enjoy a magical holiday journey through Hastings Park, which will be filled with twinkling lights and lavish holiday displays – including light tunnels! (Queue Instagram photoshoot…)
Finally, guests can watch as the organizers light their 50-foot illuminated Christmas Tree and participate in a Christmas sing-along, complete with duelling pianos.

If you want to keep the festivities going at the Pacific Coliseum, you can check out their Holiday Night Concert Series. Below is their amazing lineup:

- December 23rd: A Boy Band Christmas: An Evening of Holiday and Hits Featuring Jeff Timmons, Drew Lachey, Justin Jeffre from 98 Degrees, Jamie Jones of All 4 One, Trevor Penick from O-Town, & Ryan Cabrera
The fair will take place from 4:30 to 10:30 pm nightly from December 14th to December 23rd. Tickets will go on sale starting Thursday, October 6th at 10 am – and include access to everything except the Holiday Concerts (sold separately).
