We all love a good holiday light display but sometimes we want something a little more unique. And that’s why the Woodland Park Zoo’s WildLanterns are a great deviation from your everyday red and white light displays. It’s an immersive experience featuring large animal and nature lanterns representing wild places from around the globe!

Kicking off on November 12, WildLanterns is a way to explore the zoo like never before. It’s a lantern festival unlike any in the Northwest and is much different than the past WildLights. No matter how old you are, you’re sure to be wowed at the size and diversity of the displays that the zoo and BECU create.

This year you’ll also be able to enjoy the WildLanterns Trail. It features hundreds of thousands of colorful lights that illuminate the trees and landscapes throughout Discovery Loop. It’s a brand new addition to WildLanterns and is a great spot to snap holiday pics for your socials. Best of all, it’s included with your lights admission.

Another new addition this year is live traditional Chinese art performances. You’ll be able to watch Tianyu’s captivating performances which include traditional Chinese folk dances, Kung Fu, lion dances, and more.
