This snazzy wine and snack bar is opening a second location on Main & here’s what we know so far

If you’re looking for new wine bars to check out in Vancouver this summer, Wild Thing Snack Bar is a fantastic option – especially for folks who prefer smaller, “hidden” bars. The even better news? After a mere 6 weeks of opening downtown, the wine & snack bar is opening a second location on Main Street. Its name? TBD. But its solid plant-based menu and team of creatives aren’t going anywhere!

Honestly, you can’t go wrong with delicious, natural wine, inventive eats, and friendly faces.

In the space formerly occupied by The Wallflower, a new neighbourhood concept for vegan and vegetarian fare is born. Although details are a little scarce at the moment, folks can expect everything they already know and love from the OG menu, plus a few new seafood and meat options.

As it stands, folks can pair the Wild Mushroom & Yubu Salad with a glass of their fave vino, or chow down on deviled eggs, perogies, and burrata (available Friday to Sunday, baked with fresh sourdough from Nelson and the Seagull!)

They also have a tasty selection of cheeses (vegan and non-vegan), dried fruit, nuts, and crackers to pair with your bubbles of choice. If you’re looking for a relaxed space to cozy up on date night – this is it!
