Alright folks, last week we took a look at a pretty reasonable winter getaway option out in Nelson. This week though, we’re taking things to ludicrous heights, with maybe the most stunning (and expensive) chalet available for rent in all of Whistler. Say hello to the Belmont Estate.

Ironically sharing the name of one of Vancouver’s most expensive properties, the Belmont Estate in Whistler represents the ultimate luxury skiing experience. The gated, 7 acre property is not actually located on the mountain, instead, it sits on the other side of Alta Lake.

Now you might be thinking “Hold up, one of Whistler’s most expensive rentals isn’t even on the mountain?”. We were surprised too, before finding out that the driveway is big enough to accommodate a helicopter for heli-skiing during your visit. Yeah, forget a private chairlift, we’re hopping in the chopper.

Of course, helicopter parking is just one part of a suite of amenities that make the Belmont Estate such a high-class destination. Across both the main house and the guest house (of course), you’ve got some 8,100 sq. ft. of pure luxury to enjoy.

On the functional side, you’ve got 7 bedrooms across both houses, capable of sleeping up to 14 guests at a time. Meanwhile, there’s a massive, gourmet kitchen to cook up a storm in, just in case you get the munchies after your personal chef has gone home for the day.

But, this incredible Whistler chalet wouldn’t be complete with all the apres ski options you can think of. There are not one but two games rooms, an in-home theatre, and a full spa-like area for working out, hopping in the sauna and grabbing a massage.

Finally, the chalet features some outdoor amenities that can be enjoyed year-round. Sure, there’s a 12 person hot tub kicking around, but there’s also a full-sized heated outdoor pool to get a couple of laps in before you hit the slopes, and an outdoor fireplace for some fireside drinks before dinner.

Yeah, this is probably one of the most incredible rentals we’ve ever covered. And naturally, it’s also the most expensive, at a cool $9,500+/night. Maybe a friend of yours just sold a jpeg of a monkey for a few hundred thousand and wants to celebrate. We say point them here.
