If you like to keep up with what’s filming in and around Vancouver, then this list is for you. Hollywood North has been hard at work so far this year, and it’s already shaping up to be an even busier time ahead. From the last season of Riverdale ever to a new movie starring Halle Berry, here are 10 movies and TV shows filming around Vancouver right now.

Riverdale, Season 7

We’ll start off with Riverdale because why not. It’s the last season and it’s been… an interesting ride. From dimension-travelling to random pole dances and unexplained seizures, it’s been entertaining in that ‘can’t look away from a car crash’ way. The final hoorah will be filming in Langley from October 17th until late June 2023 – so you still have plenty of time to catch the cast & crew out and about in Vancouver.

In the Blink of an Eye

This epic sci-fi drama will be directed by the same director behind Pixar films like WALL-E and Finding Nemo, as well as episodes of popular shows including Stranger Things. Filming will commence on March 27th and last until May 19th. Note that no filming location has been shared, so this is one to keep your eyes out for!

Just Like a Christmas Movie

Produced by CMW Productions and directed by Soran Mardookhi, this new holiday movie just began filming in Kelowna on Tuesday, February 22nd, and will continue until March 9th. We know it’s a bit far from Vancouver, but if you’re in need of a little holiday spirit, you can check out the set at 401-554 Leon Avenue.

Bau, Artist at War

Switching gears, this feature is based on the true story of Joseph and Rebecca Bau, whose wedding took place in the Plaszow concentration camp during the second world war. The war drama not only details their love story, but reminds current viewers of the tragedies that took place during the Holocaust. The film will film in downtown Vancouver until March 10th at 1950 Franklin Street.

Under the Bridge, Season 1

This eight-episode limited series is based on Rebecca Godfrey’s book about the true story of a 14-year-old who never returned home from a friend’s party. The show follows seven teenage girls and one boy who were accused of her murder. The show will be filming at 22031 Fraserwood Way in Richmond from December 5th to April 17th, 2023.

A Million Little Things, Season 5

This show is said to have a million plotlines going at once, but there’s nothing “little” about them. Season 5 of the ABC hit continues the varying stories of each character and their unexpected life circumstances and relationships. And it’s filming in Burnaby now until March 3, 2023.

Never Let Go

Directed by Alexandre Aja, Never Let Go is a new thriller starring none other than Halle Berry, AKA – Catwoman. Filming will start at 7588 Winston Street, Burnaby on March 20th and end on May 26th.

The Flash, Season 9

Season 9 of the Flash may be the show’s last season, but that doesn’t mean Grant Gustin and the rest of the cast & crew aren’t ready to go out with a bang. The beloved series will be filming in East Van (3500 Cornett Road Bld. C) from September 14th until March 6, 2023.
