On Friday, Sept 20, Jollibee Calgary opened its doors to a crowd of people waiting to get their hands on the famous Filipino fast food. Hundreds of die-hard fans started lining up the night before to get the outrageous grand opening giveaway of free Jolly Crispy Chicken for a year. High risk of not sleeping, high reward.
Although we didn’t get our hands on free chicken for a year, we did get our hands on some of their most well-known dishes like the Jolly Crispy Chicken, Jolly Spaghetti, Fiesta Noodles, and their Peach Mango Pie.
JOLLY CRISPY CHICKEN
The most well known and best thing on the menu (in our opinion). The amazing crunchy skin is perfectly seasoned and the chicken itself is incredibly juicy. Dip it in their signature gravy and you’ll experience pure Jollibee joy.
JOLLY SPAGHETTI
The spaghetti has a savory sauce meat sauce with a mix of ham, sausage, and ground beef. It does have a slight sweetness to it that comes from banana ketchup. Yeah, we said banana ketchup – but we promise it’s super tasty.

PALABOK FIESTA
Also known as pancit palabok, this is a dish of glass noodles tossed in shrimp sauce. Then, it’s topped with shrimp, ground meat, hard-boiled eggs, and green onions. We definitely approve.
PEACH MANGO PIE
This delicious warm dessert item is the perfect finisher. Each pie is deep-fried to perfection with a flaky outside and a gooey mango and peach filling.
