But the definite show-stopper here is the Foley Mountain Conservation Area which offers a spectacular view of the local village and its historic waterway.

The scenic lookout soars high above the town of Westport, aka Spy Rock scenic lookout.

According to the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority, standing on top of the granite ridge, you can see the historic Upper Rideau waterway and the Village of Westport. This ridge is Foley Mountain.

After you’ve finished your adventure, explored the downtown core and the viewpoint, why not make the trip down to Gananoque – only 45 minutes south of Westport.

There’s lots to do in southeastern Ontario so definitely make a weekend out of it. It’s worth it!
