Did you know that Western Canada’s largest free outdoor walk-through Christmas light display was in Airdrie? Whew, that was a mouthful. But it’s also true! The Airdrie Festival of Lights is officially celebrating its 25th season this year and it’s looking as impressive as ever.

Yes, 2020 will of course be different, but the walk-through setup already makes for some pretty nice physical distancing. In fact, Nose Creek Park in Airdrie will be filled with a ton of festive things to do all December long.

There will be fire pits, hot cocoa, a skating rink, and even a miniature train chugging around the area for new views of the lights.

The Airdrie Festival of Lights will be running from December 1st to 31st from 6 pm – 9 pm. Although it’s completely free to attend, a donation to keep the park (and this festival) going is also appreciated. You can do that at the park or online right here.
