Here’s where you can hop on two magical Christmas train rides with Santa in Ontario

If you’re looking for a train ride to remember this season, then you’ll want to hop aboard the Waterloo Central Railway for one of two magical experiences.

Both train rides will have visits from Santa, with one taking place during the daytime, and the other being an evening ride.

First up, we have the “magical daytime ride with Santa.”

For this experience, you will travel through the wintery Waterloo countryside from St. Jacobs to Elmira while enjoying festive carols, Christmas crafts, a holiday dance party, and, of course, a visit from Santa, according to the Waterloo Central Railway.

This holiday adventure is for family and friends of all ages, and will start at the Farmers Market Station adjacent to the St. Jacobs Farmers Market and travel to the Town of Elmira and back. Tickets for this start at $24.99.

And for the evening production, we have Santa’s Christmas Caboose.

“Ride the rails and be immersed in our brand new onboard production of Santa’s Christmas Caboose,” states the Waterloo Central Railway.

“Experience this magical story with interactive live music, a special treat from Mrs. Claus, meeting your favourite festive characters and of course, Santa himself.”

This festive adventure will start as the train pulls into the Farmers Market Station adorned with over 20,000 twinkling lights. Guests can hop onboard and besides Mr. & Mrs. Claus, there will be animated festive characters, interactive Christmas carols, and even tasty treats.

Tickets for this experience start at $34.99.
