9 great places to watch Super Bowl LVI in Vancouver

Well, whaddya know, sports lovers? In just two short weeks, Super Bowl LVI is happening, and there are some great options to watch it around Vancouver! The Cincinnati Bengals will be facing off against the Los Angeles Rams. And when kickoff rolls around, we want everyone to be settled in to enjoy it in all its glory. Of course, we don’t care who wins- just as long as everybody has fun!

So, here are some of the best places to watch Super Bowl LVI in Vancouver.

The American

We’re kicking things off with some of the most extravagant options in the city. First up is The American, which is doing it big by including a ‘DownLow Super Bowl Platter’ with wings, 1/2 a quesadilla, chips and dip, a burger, and even a drink for each ticket ($50 per person) sold.

Where: 926 Main Street

BREWHALL

Meanwhile, this massive brewery and bar is offering a wide variety of specials for the big day. You’ll be able to enjoy $5 mimosas, $8 Aperol Spritzes, and discounts on their brunch menu so you’re not getting too loose by halftime. If you’re gonna head out to watch Super Bowl LVI in Vancouver, you may as well stay awake for it!

The Chickadee Room

Not only is this Chinatown bar offering a wide variety of drink specials, but that will be matched with rotating food specials from JUKE as well! It’s a little bit of a smaller space, so we suggest making resos sooner rather than later.

Where: 182 Keefer Street

Colony Entertainment District

The flagstaff location for Colony is doing it big for the big game. There will be drink specials throughout the day, they’re announcing a grand prize winner for an ongoing contest, and of course, having bar games and options like table tennis on tap means your own fight for glory during halftime.

Where: 967 Granville Street

Mahony’s Tavern

Both of the Mahony’s in the city are hopping in on the fun! Not only will there be ongoing food and drink specials, but also a variety of prizes to be given out that day. So, if you’re feeling lucky, you might just walk away with everything from some NFL memorabilia to a $500 Best Buy gift card.

Where: 601 Stamps Landing and 1055 Canada Place #36

Malone’s Taphouse

Speaking of great contests, we can’t pass up Malone’s Taphouse. Already a great option for the game, they’re sweetening the deal with a chance to ‘Free Budweiser Beer for One Year’, for all those who buy a pint/sleeve of Bud during the game.

Where: 608 W Pender Street

Blarney Stone

While it’s not the kind of football most would expect at an Irish pub, the Blarney Stone in Gastown is still getting in on the action. Expect a wide variety of game day specials as you kick back and enjoy the game on a 240″ TV.

Where: 216 Carrall Street

Bells and Whistles

A great mix between a neighbourhood haunt and a sports bar, Bells and Whistles is sure to be a little more refined for the game. But, we think that’s perfect for those looking for a middle ground between crazy excited and couldn’t be bothered.

Where: 3296 Fraser Street and 4407 Dunbar Street

Score on Davie

Of course, we couldn’t forget about one of the most iconic sports bars in the city. Score on Davie has two amazing things going for it- a central location in the West End, and some amazing brunch deals that will have your Sunday scaries all but conquered before kickoff.

Where: 1262 Davie Street

Bonus Pick- Railtown Catering

Not feeling the hustle and bustle of an outing, but still looking to make the most of the day? Have no fear, Railtown Catering is here. They’re massive ‘Tailgate Package’ for 4 features everything you could ask to snack on during the game, including ribs, chicken, sausages, sides, and even some bourbon barbeque sauce for good measure.

Where: 397 Railway Street
