Ah yes, the cold is setting in. But that doesn’t mean that we all have to hunker down. Because chances are, you still want to enjoy some local eats. So with that in mind, we thought we’d check out some of the city’s best-winterized patios. So here are 10 of the best-heated patios in Vancouver.
We might as well kick off this list with something sweet. And Thierry is certainly just that. So if you’re in the mood for a pastry or chocolate you can head here and enjoy it on their outdoor patio. And that sounds like a pretty ideal fall activity if you ask us.

Hours: Mon-Thursday 8 am-10 pm, Friday & Saturday 8 am-11 pm, Sunday 9 am-10 pm
This might just be Vancouver’s ultimate outdoor dining spot because well, you get to look over Queen Elizabeth Park. And not to mention, you get to enjoy some pretty tasty food as well. So clearly you can’t go wrong here.
Where: Queen Elizabeth Park, 33rd Avenue
Hours: Monday-Saturday from 11:30 am, Sunday from 10:30 am
Of course, we had to include this iconic Granville Island spot. Because who doesn’t want to enjoy a delicious dinner while overlooking the water and city? Anyway, if you want to treat yourself you should check out The Sandbar.
Where: 1535 Johnston Street
Hours: Monday-Friday 4 pm-9:30 pm, Saturday & Sunday 11:30 am-9:30 pm
This spot has a menu full of delicious pizza and pasta among other things. And of course, they have an amazing patio that is perfect for outdoor dining. So if you live downtown or need a spot to check out after work, this might just be it.

And this list wouldn’t be complete without Cardero’s wonderful waterfront patio overlooking Stanley Park. Plus the food is amazing and you can even take a stroll on the seawall afterward depending on the weather. So you can really get it all here.

If you’re in the mood for a rooftop patio, Black + Blue happens to have a pretty spectacular one that is definitely worth checking out. And of course, you can also score some amazing eats as well. So this one is definitely a win-win.

If you’re headed to Yaletown you might as well check out the patio at Banter Room. Because it happens to be pretty great and of course you can also grab some drinks and eats while you’re at it. And we’ll say some of the drinks do look pretty dang fun.
Where: 1039 Mainland Street
Hours: Sunday-Tuesday 11 am-12 am, Wednesday 11 am-12:30 am, Thursday-Saturday 11 am-1 am
We’re big fans of this amazing Vietnamese spot on Main Street. And they have a great patio complete with space heaters. So you can enjoy a great patio and a delicious bowl of warm pho. And that sounds like a great way to spend a fall day.

This Kitsilano staple has pretty much been open 24/7 forever. And if you’re into vegan or vegetarian food you definitely need to stop by. Not to mention, their back patio is open for dining so be sure to stop by.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 9 am-10 pm, Friday-Sunday 9 am-11 pm
And we’ll top off the list with one more waterfront dining spot for the ultimate Vancouver dining experience. And Lift has not one but two outdoor patios, in fact, the patio two levels. Not to mention you can also score some really great food here as well.
