Seattle is getting new non-stop flights to these exciting international destinations

Those catching their flights from Seattle will soon be able to book non-stop trips from the city to Tokyo Narita, Japan (NRT) and Seoul Incheon, South Korea (ICN), all thanks to Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines.
As the only West Coast-based airline, Alaska Air is a go-to for many travelling throughout the U.S. and beyond. And the airline is making some big moves in the coming months, adding even more options.
“From our global gateway in Seattle, we can conveniently connect travelers from across our network as they head to Asia and beyond,” says Ben Minicucci, Chief Executive Officer at Alaska Air Group. “Hawaiian’s spacious widebody aircraft, along with its excellent onboard service and amenities, will make for a terrific trip from one side of the Pacific Rim to the other.”

Flights from Seattle to Tokyo & Seoul
Starting on May 12, 2025, daily non-stop flights between Seattle and Tokyo will officially launch, offering passengers a convenient way of travelling to Japan aboard Hawaiian’s Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
These flights, along with connections to other Asian destinations on Oneworld Alliance partner Japan Airlines, can be purchased now via Alaska Air and Hawaiian Airlines. As of now, fares for departing flights to Tokyo Narita start at $501 and go up to $770 in May, with more to come. Non-stop service between Seattle and Seoul is scheduled to begin in October 2025, with fares available for purchase starting early next year, so stay tuned for more details on these flights to come.
More service from Seattle to Hawai’i
Additionally, Alaska Air Group is enchanting its domestic network this spring to make travel more convenient between the Hawaiian Islands and their West Coast hubs, namely Seattle.
For starters, the airline will offer 20% more seats between Seattle and Honolulu, with three of their six daily non-stop flights on a widebody Hawaiian aircraft. In Portland, travelers will soon find three daily non-stop flights to Honolulu with staggered departure times and a 25% increase in available seats. The airline is also improving connectivity in San Diego, with mid-morning, late afternoon, and redeye departures to Maui instead of just morning departures.
Starting June 12, 2025 and June 13 respectively, Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines will offer non-stop flights from San Francisco to Kona on Hawai’i Island and Līhu‘e on Kauaʻi, which are now available for online purchase.
With 104 non-stop destinations across the continent, Alaska Air’s Seattle hub is the largest on the West Coast, according to the airline. In fact, by 2030, Alaska Air plans to have at least 12 non-stop destinations around the globe!
So until then, get excited for all of the new flight options coming to the West Coast and beyond!
Safe travels!
