The “most beautiful town” in Alberta is having a holiday celebration on a mountain top

Feeling festive? It would be hard not to, now that snow has covered the trees, streets, and mountains in and around Wild Rose Country. If you’re among the many who want to celebrate early, look no further than Banff, Alberta—one of the most enchanting places in all of Canada.

Located west of Calgary, this magical town has been named one of the most beautiful in the world and is hosting one of the coolest events in the province.

With a chill in the air, head to the Sulphur summit for a Very Vintage Mountaintop Christmas.

What to expect

If you’d like to jingle your bells before December 25th, dress warm!

This festival will have everything from crafts, cookie decorating, classic holiday movie screenings, and a “flurry” of surprises, but there’s more!

After you’ve taken the Banff Gondola to the tippy top of the mountain, you’ll also be able to grab a bite to eat at the iconic Sky Bistro and meet the big man himself.

According to Banff and Lake Louise, Santa Claus will be there on Saturdays and Sundays until December 22nd, then every day until the 24th, when he heads back to the North Pole.

What’s more, those who don’t mind the chill can roast marshmallows on the weekends.

Where else can you do so with a panoramic view of the Rockies?

Interested?

Tickets start at just $66 and are on sale now.

If you’ve got kids, one child’s admission is free per adult as long as you visit before noon.

it’s going to be an incredible time, Alberta, so don’t miss it!

Enjoy and maybe we’ll see you there! There’s nothing like it.
