Ontario’s most beautiful village is taking on a new title for the holiday season. Elora, Ontario is transforming into a winter wonderland known as the province’s “most festive” village this time of year.
The area turns its downtown strip into a beautiful Starlight Shopping experience with Christmas decorations, holiday lights and even savings at certain stores.
Elora, Ontario is nestled in Wellington County sitting along the Grand River.
The small village is just under two hours from Toronto by car with The Starlight Shopping experience running from November 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th from 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
This means stores will be open later for shoppers to take advantage of!
The stores participating in the Starlight Shopping experience sell a little of everything from home goods to sweet treats.

Some spots will be selling warm beverages to enjoy while you shop while local restaurants will also be open to host visitors once they’re done exploring such as The Cellar Pub & Grill, Bradley Steakhouse/Lounge, Elora Brewing Company and Evelyn Restaurant.
While you’re in the area, you may as well check out one of the most visited attractions in Elora, Ontario – Elora Mill.
The hotel and spa is a “one-of-a-kind destination that offers guests access to bespoke accommodation and world-class comfort.”
The spot sits at the top of the Elora Gorge, offering gorgeous panoramic views. The spa includes facial treatments and massages which can be accessed with one of the day packages.
The restaurant on site also boasts views of the gorge below and offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.
