Toronto just got a new spot for Vietnamese fusion brunch

There’s no shortage of great brunch spots here in Toronto, but it’s safe to say that not many places do it like this. Dzô Viet Eatery near the AGO has just unveiled a Vietnamese fusion brunch menu and it features all your traditional faves with a Viet twist.

The menu is only available on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and it even features exotic cocktails like the Dragon Fruit Mimosa “that’ll get you hooked,” the restaurant says.

As for the food, some of the highlights include Viet Fried Chicken & Pandan Waffle, “Photine” Pho Poutine, Soft Shell Mango Salad, Banh Khot Mini Pancake made from coconut flour, Exotic Fruit Parfait, and Bo Ne Viet Steak & Egg.

You can’t do Vietnamese cuisine without pho, and the brunch menu features five-hour slow-simmered chicken pho with scallions and crispy shallots.

To wash it down, you can order an Egg Creme Coffee or an Egg Creme Coffee Martini. There’s also the refreshing lychee-flavoured Ha Long Bay Mojito and an assortment of Foco tropical juices.

Unlike many restaurants, Dzô Viet Eatery actually takes reservations for brunch and they highly recommend that you make one.

This isn’t the only Asian fusion brunch spot in Toronto. Kanto by Tita Flips is known for its Sunday brunch buffet fiestas, where you can stuff your face with unlimited dishes with a Filipino twist.

Some of their menu highlights include Ube Pancakes, Fresh Baked Pandesal, Variety of Pancit, Soups, Silogs, Kare-Kare, and Lechon. Our mouths are watering already!

If you’re ready to take your taste buds on a wild ride, it sounds like Dzô Viet Eatery’s new brunch menu has you covered.
