Filipino cuisine meets Sunday brunch β€” need we say more? Toronto’s Kanto by Tita Flips is known for its Sunday fiestas, where you can stuff your face with all-you-can-eat brunch favourites with a Filipino twist.

“Experience an All You Can Eat Filipino Bruch with over 50 items of Filipino deliciousness,” says a description of the Sunday fiesta.

“From Ube Pancakes, Fresh Baked Pandesal, Variety of Pancit, Soups, Silogs and even Main dishes like Kare-Kare and Lechon to name a few.” Our mouths are watering already!

Kanto Sunday Fiesta Brunch has four seatings throughout the day at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m., each of which are two hours long.

You can get tickets in advance to secure your spot β€” the price is $25 per person and children ages four to 12 get in for half-price.

Toronto is one of several cities across Canada participating in the first-ever Filipino restaurant month this April.

The new festival, presented by Philippine Department of Tourism (PDOT) and the Philippine Consulate General in Calgary, will allow Canadians to experience Filipino cuisine in a whole new way.

Participating restaurants will offer prix fixe menus throughout the month that showcase the best Filipino dishes, ingredients, and local chefs.

If you’re tasting your way through Toronto’s Filipino culinary scene, Kanto’s Sunday Fiesta Brunch is one for the list.
