Via Rail’s Black Friday sale is on & you can travel to Montreal for $39

Looking for a little winter trip? Black Friday deals are now live on Via Rail and you can get some pretty sweet discounts on travel experiences across Canada. And some trips to Montreal are even under $40.

Now until November 29, you can get 25% off your next trip if you use the code VIA2022 on select experiences. Is Montreal on your radar? This discount code applies to Escape fare in Economy class and Business fare in Business class in the Québec City–Windsor corridor.

This only works if you travel between December 1, 2022, and February 28, 2023 on trains departing before 9:00 AM or after 6:00 PM. That being said, we found some inexpensive trips to Montreal for just $39 as early as December 13, 2022 and select dates thereafter.

You can also get 25% off on the Escape fare in Economy class and in Sleeper Plus class on board the Canadian for travel between December 1, 2022, and April 14, 2023, according to Via Rail.

As for their regional trains and the Ocean, you can get this discount in Economy class and in Sleeper Plus class, respectively, for travel between December 1, 2022, and April 14, 2023.

Black Friday deals have really popped off this week when it comes to travelling. Canada’s low-cost airline Swoop also started its Black Friday discounts this week with up to 50% off select flights.

As for getting the best deal with Via Rail, it’ll take some searching but you’ll definitely find something in your budget.
