One of Toronto’s most popular summertime festivals has announced this year’s artist lineup. VELD is bringing the heat to Toronto this August with a number of headliners and tickets go on sale next week.

The highly anticipated three-day event is set to take place at Downsview Park from August 2nd to August 4th, 2024.

And in honour of its 11th anniversary, they’re bringing some heavy hitters.

Are you ready for this? For the first time, the festival will introduce the inaugural house music headliner FISHER, on the main stage. They’re best known for singles such as “Losing It” “You Little Beauty” and “Take it Off”

Other big-name performers include American electronic music producer and DJ, Marshmello; Swedish DJ and Grammy-nominated music producer, Alesso; Dutch DJ and music producer Martin Garrix American DJ, music producer, and remixer Kaskade.

Here’s another first for Canada. Swedish DJ and producer Eric Prydz presents HOLO, will hit the stage with “an awe-inspiring visual spectacle.”

According to INK Entertainment, this cutting-edge technology will take over the main stage, offering a one-of-a-kind and immersive experience for one night only.

“As we gear up for the 11th edition of VELD Music Festival, the anticipation is reaching new heights and we’re excited to deliver the best VELD experience yet,” said Talal Farisi, Music Director of INK Entertainment Group.

“Bringing back fan favourites, securing top industry headliners, and featuring Eric Prydz presenting HOLO for the first time in Canada solidifies the promise that this year’s festival will elevate the overall experience.”

VELD has a few more surprises up its sleeve so make sure to check back on January 22nd as more headliners will be revealed.

Pre-sale tickets will be live on January 24th, 2024 while general on-sale starts January 25th.
