VELD has announced its festival line up & here’s who’s performing

Toronto’s most beloved and highly anticipated summer music festival VELD has officially announced this year’s lineup. And if you haven’t already, you’ll definitely want to get your tickets ASAP.

The popular three-day event is set to kick off on August 4th to August 6th, 2023 and in honour of its 10th anniversary, they’re going BIG. What is being called the festival’s ‘Most exciting lineup to date” will also include a special global debut performance, an evening dedicated to UK hip-hop and grime on the hillside stage, and returning artists “who paved the legacy of the festival from day one.”

Are you ready for this? Here’s who’s coming to VELD this year.

You can expect to see big names like Tiësto, Above & Beyond, Zedd, Loud Luxury, Illenium (making his VELD debut this year), and Deadmau5 will also be returning as a headliner with a global debut and back-to-back performance alongside Juno-award-winning DJ and Producer from Niagara Falls, Rezz.

According to organizers INK Entertainment, this will be the first time the two Canadian artists perform together on stage as RezzMau5.

As for those on the hillside stage, presented by RAPSEASON, one of the UK’s leading rappers, Central Cee, whose known for ‘Loading’ and ‘Doja’, will be taking the stage. British hip-hop duo Krept and Konan and drill artist, K-Trap, will also make their Toronto debuts at VELD 2023.

“We couldn’t be more excited to announce this year’s lineup and celebrate our 10th anniversary with some of our favourite performers from VELD’s past, as well as introduce some new faces and genres to continue to make this the highlight of Toronto’s summer,” said Talal Farisi, Music Director, INK Entertainment Group.

“VELD wouldn’t be what it is today without the fans and incredible artists that have graced the stage over the last decade. We are grateful for all the support and good vibes they bring to the festival every year and are looking forward to that continuing for the next 10 years to come.”

Other names who will be performing on stage include Sofi Tukker, Meduza, and Bob Moses. The three stages at VELD 2023 will offer three different music experiences; electronic dance music on the main stage, house music on the Sirkus Stage, and UK hip-hop and grime exclusively on Friday, August 4th and dubstep and bass for the remainder of the weekend on the Hillside stage.

Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Wednesday, February 1, 2023, between 9:00 AM and 11:59 PM EST. General on-sale starts on February 2, 2023 at 8 AM EST.
