John Mayer is one of those artists that everyone knows by at least one song, if not by name. And the Grammy-winning artist is bringing his newly announced solo tour to Toronto and Vancouver this spring.
After making his professional debut as an acoustic-focused songwriter with his 2001 album Room for Squares, Mayer began to widen his musical scope. Now, Mayer does everything from blues rock to slower contemporary – just as much a guitarist as he is a singer.
We think it’s pretty safe to say that a solo tour is a perfect way to put his many talents onstage, as he returns to his coffeehouse roots.
Solo Tour 2023. Just like the early days. I’ll be playing old songs. Newer songs. Songs you haven’t heard yet that I’ll be road testing – all on acoustic, electric, and piano. Hope to see you there…
