Vancouver’s first vegan night market of the year will have live music & marshmallow roasting

Guess what, foodies? Canada’s first all-vegan market is officially back in Vancouver in 2024, and you won’t have long to wait to check out the first night market of the year.

This March, Peaces is bringing back its beloved plant-based, pet-friendly market – complete with delicious eats and drinks and cruelty-free clothing and cosmetics to peruse.

While it’s still too early to talk vendors, the night market promises an “unforgettable evening” with “mouthwatering dishes crafted by local chefs.” And if last year’s markets are any indication, we’re in for everything from plant-based tacos and Chickpea fries to desserts.

New this year are several marshmallow roasting stations for guests to treat themselves, according to the event page.

The family-friendly March market will also feature live acoustic music from 6 pm to 7:45 pm, and a DJ set from 7:45 pm to 10 pm – so don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes!

The first Vegan Night Market of 2024 will take place on Thursday, March 7th at The Waldorf, with a $4 minimum donation required for admission. Otherwise, the market is accepting donations of canned goods, clothing, or pet food, which will go to a local NPO.

Stay tuned for more info as it comes, including an official list of participating vendors.

So there you have it, Vancouver! If you’re as excited to see the market back in action as we are, be sure to mark your calendars.
