This cruise line is hiring for a ‘dream job’ in Greece & it’s open to Canadians

This one’s for all the adventure-seekers out there. A small-ship cruise line called Variety Cruises is hiring for what they describe as a “dream job” and it isn’t your typical 9-to-5 gig.

Variety Cruises is looking for its next Product Development Manager, a.k.a. Vacation Dream Weaver, and Canadians can apply.

But, according to the cruise line, the job is best described as “intrepid scout, professional traveller, and vacation dream weaver” all rolled into one.

Your mission? To uncover the hidden gems in every destination Variety Cruises visits and beyond, and craft memorable travel experiences for passengers.

And be prepared to relocate because this job is based in Athens, Greece, with occasional opportunities to WFS (work from ship).

As the Product Development Manager, you’ll work closely with the Commercial Director, researching, managing, and developing the cruise line’s offerings.

You’ll be the go-to person for everything related to itineraries, destinations, and programming.

Balancing the best of both worlds, you’ll dive into the beautiful beaches while also handling the nitty-gritty of the business side.

And trust us, it’s not just about having fun. You’ll also need to present sales forecasts and reports to the Variety Cruises Management team.

Now, we know you’re eager to know if you’re the right fit for this extraordinary opportunity.

Here’s what Variety Cruises is looking for — a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Hospitality Management, at least three years of experience in Product Development and/or Travel Hospitality, and excellent English language skills.

You’ll also need to be a computer whiz, socially savvy, and have a thirst for adventure.

If you land this dream job, Variety Cruises says it offers a fantastic working environment with continuous training and professional development.

And wait for it… you’ll also get a free vacation (plus an extra week of paid leave) on an annual cruise. That means you’ll experience the itineraries as a client and have the time of your life.

So, friends, if you’re ready to embark on the journey of a lifetime, you can apply for the job online here.

Good luck and bon voyage!
